DO YOU HAVE FAITH?

The Holy Bible says that God is our Provider, our Protector, our Life, and our Hope (Philippians 4:19, Psalm 18:2, John 14:6, Romans 15:13). It is in and through Him that we receive every promise that has already been given to us through faith. But where is your faith?

Do you have the faith the size of a mustard seed that can move mountains? (Matthew 17:20)

“If you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you.”

Remember, mountains here means adversity and challenges in the Greek.

Do you have the faith of Peter when he walked on the water with our Lord? (Matthew 14:29-31)

“So He said, ‘Come.’ And when Peter had come down out of the boat, he walked on the water to go to Jesus…”

Or do you have the faith of the disciples who just knew they were going to drown in that boat—even after seeing every miracle Jesus performed and walking right beside Him? (Mark 4:38-40)

“But He was in the stern, asleep on a pillow. And they awoke Him and said… ‘Teacher, do You not care that we are perishing?’… ‘Why are you so fearful? How is it that you have no faith?’”

Do you have the faith of Daniel as he walked into the lion’s den? (Daniel 6:16-23)

“My God sent His angel and shut the lions’ mouths…”

The faith of David as he faced Goliath? (1 Samuel 17:45-47)

“You come to me with a sword, with a spear, and with a javelin. But I come to you in the name of the Lord of hosts…”

Now, look at what David said before he slew the giant:

1 Samuel 17:46 – “This day the Lord will deliver you into my hand…”

Now that’s faith and true conviction that God will do what He has promised He will do. He’s already saved us from eternal damnation, sickness, poverty, mental illness—you can continue the list as you see fit…

The truth is the Bible says to be perfect as He is perfect (Matthew 5:48)

“Therefore you shall be perfect, just as your Father in heaven is perfect.”

And that you shall be whole, lacking nothing (James 1:4)

“That you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing.”

So what’s the issue? Why are we not living in that abundant life as it is promised to us? Why are we still drowning in our worries, problems, sadness, and disease? Is God not our Provider and Healer!?

Remember, all things are possible to him who believes (Mark 9:23)

“If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes.”

And whatever you ask in prayer, you will receive, if you ask in faith, not doubting (James 1:6, Matthew 21:22)

“And whatever things you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive.” “But let him ask in faith, with no doubting…”

He is waiting on you—we’re not waiting on Him. Everything He has promised us is already done; it’s up to us to receive it in faith.

It’s no coincidence that you’re in this study right now, it’s no coincidence that you’ve met the person sitting next to or across from you. You are the Church! Church is not a building we go to, it’s in us… We are the Church, the temple of God.

We have sooooooo much power within us but we limit ourselves. We have a form of godliness but deny the power thereof (2 Timothy 3:5)

“Having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away!”

Come on Church! Let’s stand up!!! God is not a God of lack but a God of abundance—

“I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.” (John 10:10)

Let’s step into that flow of abundance and begin to be the men and women that God desires us to be every day.

Be blessed Church, I love y’all! —Apostle K
